Todd F. Michalek

In 2010 I enlisted in the Marine Corps under the pretense that I'd serve as a photographer. Thankfully it worked out, and I've been blessed with the privilege of covering events from the far reaches of Eastern Asia to the sandy deserts of the Middle East, all the while with a camera hand.

Most recently I've been working for a daily newspaper in southeastern North Carolina covering features, news, and sports. After working in many far away places for extended periods of time, it is a great honor to document life in a small town and to be a part of the fabric that holds America together.
